This is photo number 8 in the set. Take a look at number 7 as well. Number 7 clearly shows what the Sanborn Map identifies as the "waiting room and switching tower." This photo has a better viw of the buildings across Shafter, whan Sanborn IDs as a restaurant and the freight office.

Another BAERA excursion of the 1950s. MW#302(1020) and 1005 in view. Routine was right hand running so this set should be prepared to head east.
